Haze and Conan

Using the psgoove pic 1.8a (hermes v4) (P3Free NO leds) hex I cannot get either of these games to work. I get an error at startup. I have tried with open manager 1.14.2 , 1.17 and 1.17.1 . Also with backup manager v1 and v2 - using these the game will not even try to launch as i get an "invalid EBoot.bin" error message.
Both of these games are listed as jailbreak compatible with no errors and play fine from original disc so I guess they should work on the P3FREE.
Any help on how to get them playing much appreciated.

Best guess is that the games are not ripped with jailbreak.

Both EU version games i ripped myself using open manager 1.14.2 ???

I've had this problem with other games, though unfortunately I have not tried either of these. But in case you want to try it, running them in patched mode with Open Manager 1.16 while using hermes v3 solved the problem for me when I had an invalid eboot.bin error.

I'm running Open Manager 1.171 with the PL3 payload now and I have not run into this problem since making the switch.

just burn the USBHID hermes or PL3 version.... I run both just fine with the hermes4 one

Thanks for the help - currently using Illness 4b version with backup manager 1.17.1 - Both these games still fail to load. Error 80010017 on startup. I also have the same error with Stranglehold.
Any advice appreciated. Thx.
