I have a p3free and I want to downgrade my ps3 with it. I have some questions. First one is, Do I have to use the modified 3.41 firmware or can I use the regular 3.41 firmware? Second, Will I lose bluray playback if I use the 3.41 modified firmware? Third, is there a downgrade tutorial for the p3free? Any help
    will be appreciated, thanks

I'm not 100% sure about my answers, so wait for anyone to confirm or deny it.

    1. I think 3.41 modded .pup file is needed only if you're on higher FW then 3.41.
    2. If you have a slim, you don't have to worry about loosing your blue-ray playback. If you're a fat owner, you should check which model do you have. Somewhere on the forum there's a table showing which models are affected.
    3. The downgrade procedure looks pretty much the same for every device, it's just the way you flash your device. Try searching the forum for "ps3 downgrade", I'm sure you'll find a tutorial.

Has anyone found a compatible hex file for downgrading with the P3Free?I can find no hex files that have 12 mhz, which I believe are the only ones that are safe to use. Will the others(like the 8mhz and the 16 mhz hexs) work with the P3Free?
