Hey frank, mine showed up $8.35CAD owing - it comes down to canada charges GST on goods (not gift, these should have been marked gift as no money was changing hands) > $20CAD commercial value. For whatever reason, to collect 5% of $20.10 (like $1) they have to relable the package as COD, and charge the COD fee plus tax on that as well. In your case I assume the difference was due to additional PST, here we luckily have avoided having a PST for as long as I can remember. And yes, the guy took the $8.35 with a happy grin and filed it away in a collection envelope, though he could not make change.
Just be thankful they use a good courier and priority shipping, I've seen brokerage fees on a $100 item go as high as $70+COD fees on top when using non-priority options with couriers.
ic2005 have paid the DHL shipping charge in advance already. they don't use COD.
I live in the US and I did not get charged anything. So it just comes down to what country you live in and if they are going to charge you. So that is completely out of Patricks hands. Thanks for covering the shipping also.
I'm not part of the "tester" group but mine was sent via EMS. Maybe because I'm a reviewer and it was sent directly from P3Free and not from ic2005
i had duties too. $11.06
no big deal. i left a check and they left the package at the door
they accept check and cash, and you can probably call in and pay it over the phone with CC..
be glad they didnt ship UPS otherwise the charges would have been $30 atleast (DHL brokerage on your thing says $7 fee, ups is $29 or something ridiculous)
Yea I paid credit card over the phone. And they didn't resend the package until I filed a complaint 4days after paying then got it the next day. Where r u located illness?
