I've ftped over 50 games without issue, and I tried this one straight from the disk as well. that's not the issue

I have the same situation. Even with the kid wanting to play batman. I'm still waiting on my new P3Free.

Game works fine with the p3free, just tested it and although it wont work on external (large file) it works fine on Internal
P3free with Illness Hermes v4 fixed 3.4.1 and Open Manager 1.17

Could you briefly go through the steps you use to load the game. I'm just wondering if there is something different you are doing that I am not.

Turn on PS3 with the jailbreak
You FTP'd the game to internal drive
Go into Open Manager
Load game
Now back to xmb and click on the game
And it works?

I backed up the game with the manager to the internal (due to the large file size)
Loaded game with a disk in drive.

mine is blus30175

Mine is the Pal version so diff versions.
