Does this board risk overheating If i where to place it in a small tight enclosure with zero airflow?
I have a fat ps3 that has a led stand, - was curious if i modify the stand and stick the bored in it, if i risk overheating.

you'll be totally fine. just make sure if your enclosure is metal that you insulate against a short.
I run my XPLAIN boards in the original box they come in with a little hole cut out for the USB to stick through. Haven't had an issue yet and I leave it plugged in when I'm using my JB'd PS3.
