    Is it possible? If so, you could write to /_dev_flash/vsh/etc/version.txt and allow ps3 online :P

    Overwriting a simple firmware version text file won't enable online... It's not that simple.

    And you can write to dev_flash if it's emulated on your USB.

    basicly what Inaudax said but there are a few other files i will be experimenting with like a system plug in and software update plugin and the .rco equivilants as i have nothing to do later will be doing that lol might just replace them with dummy files to see what happenes

    dont think you can decrypt them .rco files yet. Only the ones for psp can be.

    i just tried to replace them with a useless one (search plugin and something else) and it wouldent load so im guessing it has something to do with the plugins or im doing it wrong lol
