The video claims this is the result of spoofing... which is odd, because my PS3 shows 3.41 with the latest payload (Spoof+MathFix)
Anybody have some thoughts on this?

if yours is not showing 3.50, its not spoofing anything, and stop calling mathieulh's fix he didn't fix anything he has nothing to do with this payload.
Yes, that video is using a spoof. There is no jailbreak for 3.50 hence I put that disclaimer unlike some other sites/youtubers who mislead people and even attach jailbreak files for firmwares that can not be jailbroken.
I'm sure you downloaded or installed the wrong files, thats why it still shows 3.41.
Make sure to grab the latest files from DJLO's PSN hex thread.
Does that latest payload, include the controller fix for games like f1?
OK, I will have to double check then. I generated my hex on the Project0 site.
I haven't actually messed with PSN, because I didn't have a real need to get on it.
This is a good spot to get the spoofed hexs

Use the nounauth folder
Thanks, yeah, I finally got a spoof payload running. I was confusing "spoof" with "PSN" - so much happening lately.
I still suspect that 3.50 will be jailbroken (probably already) with the right USB identifiers (should I have not said that out loud?) I'm not sure Sony fixed the exploit as much as disabled using non-Sony USB identifiers to trigger it. Sony's code was scrupulously avoided and in the end, it didn't stop Sony from ***cough***bribing***cough*** convincing a judge that the Jailbreak infringed on Sony's copyrights.
I think we might see some interesting variations once the Service Jig is open sourced.
