    i have a usb dongle for jailbreaking its says ps3jailbreak.com and its blue.

    can i flash the hex files to this? if so how do i find out which hex i need?

    i need to be able to play games ftp from my pc because the blu ray laser in my ps3 is broke.

    Hmm ps3jailbreak.com just takes me to PSGroove.com lol. Are you sure the dongle isn't PS3Break.com because as I recall those are blue in colour :S... Anyways to identify which hex files you need, figure out which chip is inside the device. You can pull a part the device (i.e. just take off the cover) if you aren't able to identify it any other way. Alternatively, if you manage to find the support site for the company that made the device, they'll probably have updates there. Make sure you get the patched backup manager v2, that lets you play games without the disc inside.
