Update pkg license

Tried to run samerai shodown and says I need to update my license.edat through psn. I have a new license.edat but i do not know where the pkg file was installed on my internal hdd. Where would samerai shodown be for me to replace the license? Thank you.

When you buy a license for PS3 game, after downloading, console automatically unpacking it into the same location as your game ("dev_hdd0/game/<GameID>/USRDIR/", sometimes deeper and file(s) name depend it of developers imagination). Also there's creating licence file in "dev_hdd0/home/<user number>/exdata/" and writed to act.dat as any other old PS3 game or PSX Classics.

my problem is i cannot find the game to replace the license edat. what would that games folder name be called?

As I said above: this could be somewhere in USRDIR folder in your GameID folder (i.e if game has name NPUB-12345 you should place it somewhere in "dev_hdd0/game/NPUB12345/USRDIR/"). Where exactly, as I said before, it depend on game (developers could place it whatever they want). If you bought this game, connect to PSN, download this key and PS3 do it for you. If you have not buying it, I cannot help you.
