could i go from my pc to my ps3 through ethernet cable adnd then my ps3 wirelessly to my router? any homebrew for this or anything

Doesn't quite work that way. You can directly connect your PS3 to your computer via ethernet, but the PS3 will only allow 1 active connection at a time.
Only if ps3 had 2 NICs, which it doesnt.
You're stuck with having to plug he cable to get speedier transfers and then going back fiddling with the net setup again to go back to wireless.
If you don't care about speeding up transfers, you can have the pc to the (wireless) router trough cable (I think all of the got wired ports), and the ps3 to the router via wireless. The ps3 and the pc will see each other, but you are limited to the wireless speeds.
But I am guessing that's already what you got.
