I've been digging around and I still dont understand it... What's this "Rebug Beta" thing supposed to be used for? Do 3.15 users need it?

It enables all the debug options that are supposed to be inaccessible for normal users. Mostly things that repair techs at Sony use that Sony doesn't want the PS3 owners messing with. For example, you can turn off HDCP. The videos tell a lot more than the site.
I must be missing some information somewhere, though, since I'm not really sure how to install Rebug since I'm on 3.41 and my PS3 doesn't want to "update" to the same version.

If I'm on fw3.15, and am not a "power user", do I even need to bother with this "Rebug" stuff? I only use mine for ps2/psjb/emulator gaming and watching movies off of an external hdd.

Excellent!
So any news on anything relevant for fw3.15? Hermes still not supported for 3.15, right?
