Ti-84+ backup manager not able to play games

So I have the newest application on my calculator. Ive installed the standard backup manager and backed up fifa 10 and condemed 2: bloodshot, both of which are confirmed working on the internal and external drives. When I go to load either from the back up manager it loads back to the xmb as normal and the disc appears for the game as expected (the game from the internal drive is loaded not the one from the bd ddrive) but when I go to load it either freezes just before leaving the xmb leaving me with a nice view of my xmb background, or with condemned 2 it leaves me with a blank screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You need the Backup Manager enabled hex file.

I'm using the Modified version of Brandon Wilson's TI-84+ PSGroove port with backup manager enabled on my ti84. Is this something different than you were talking about?

I've also tested it both with and without hdmi (720) and still games will not boot.

Please refer to my guide at the top of the page ( http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65637 (TI-84+ Jailbreaking Guide (and playing backups)) ) to resolve these issues. You need to use the backup enabled PSJB port, it is attached to the thread I linked.

I used the exact one you had attached and my calculator is on 2.53... What else is there that I could possibly be missing? I was able to backup a few games (Katamari Forever & MGS4) but they wouldn't launch, straight to XMB.

EDIT: Using my LBP blu ray disc if that matters.

It is supposed to send you back to XMB, go to the game xmb and the game should be there in place of your LBP blu ray disc. Watch the video on my thread.
