Hey guys. Just got my Teensy today. Loaded the original (not version 1.1) precompiled patched hex files (which I can no longer find hosted here) for the Teensy ++ 2 board.

Loads fine. Boots fine. Installs manager.pkg fine. BM copies games to internal drive fine. I ripped Dark Sector, because it's small and is supposed to work. But when I try and launch it it goes straight back to the XMB. Same for inFamous.

I figure maybe the old hex files
weren't patched, so get the 1.1 file for my board. Loads fine. When I got to boot it the LED on the board blinks but does not stay lit. When the PS3 boots it says unrecognizable USB device inserted.

I've reloaded the original files and the same thing happens... every time. I power down the PS3 every time. I've never removed the Teensy with the PS3 on.

The only thing I can think of that I could have done wrong is... The 1st time I tried booting with PSG 1.1 when I hit eject on the PS3 I hit it several times, because I'm used to there not being a disc in it, and it beeping at me. There was a disc in it so I hit eject until it ejected and beeped. It's been failing ever since.

Anyone else experience anything like this? Anyone having any problems with Teensy boards?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

I've tried it both ways... with disc in and out. The PS3 wont go in to dev mode either way.

the only time is does not go into dev mode for me with the teensy 2.0 is when you don't unplug the power from the back of my ps3 slim.

I got it working again... reflashed the Teensy from another laptop... but I'm guessing it was removing the usb thumb drive that I used to load BM that actually fixed the issue.
