Should I buy TI-84 Plus or Dev board?

Hey guys, I was just wondering what you thought would be best to buy to mod my ps3.. I have neither a ti-84 or a dev board but both are running for about the same on ebay.. will I be able to update the ti-84 program when a new version of groove comes out or will I have to wait for brandon to do it for me? cuz I know you can update devboards yourself... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT- sooo in other words whats the best investment??

Correct me if wrong but I'm fairly certain people updated Brandon's port to the newest version before he did (without bdemulation of course).

edit: Not suggesting getting the TI, most likely the dev board will be updated before the TI but who knows.

I'm still undecided.. I know that the more I wait cheaper alternatives will come along but I just can't wait to start backing up my games... as of right now ti seems like the way to go because at least it can be used for other things..

would still like to hear your input..

You just explained it: TI-84 has more uses than a dev board. It would be especially useful if you're about to or currently enrolled in high school/college. Go with the TI. In addition, it's easier to get a hold of those things.
