Hey guys loving the work everyone is doing with the homebrew. Ive got no idea how to write code so i have a request. Im not even sure if its possible yet. Ive been repairing alot of old ps3 consoles that suffer overheating problems. RLOD. From what ive seen so far its been a fan problem, the fan doesnt ramp up anywhere near as much as it should. The fix is to reapply thermal paste and then modify the PWM fan system by running it off the 3.3V pin from the powersupply with a few inline resistors (so its not ridiculously loud). Im wondering if someone could write a wee PKG so we can test the thermistors on the ps3 & compare them to actual readings using a thermocouple. It would clear a few things up. It would be great if we could offset the thermistors aswell but i doubt that would be possible.
i think it would be good if like what we can do on our pc's controll the fan speed.
