No worries. Like me, Evostar compiled the latest sources and he said it was working for him, but I don't know what firmware he is on. It won't be long though, I'm sure... we've waited this long... a few more days won't hurt us.
Update: I have successfully compiled Rockbox-PSGroove for 3.15 and it does in fact preform the jailbreak. I think I need to get the correct payloads into the build though since it is simply running unsigned code at the moment and doesn't play the backups I make... just goes back to the XMB.
I need some sleep though, will finish in the morning if no one else gets it compiled in the Sansa thread before me.

Did you use the shuffle2 git to build 3.15?
How did you specify for 3.15? In the makefile? Or did you have to change config.h? I need 1 for 3.15 4g greyscale. Ill be attempting to compile in next few days for the first time, thanks. Any tips for hurdles you overcame are welcome crash.

Mate, you've done a hell of a job, possibly the most noob friendly method to JB the PS3 out there. I'm basically checking this thread daily, then go over to your site SourceForge.net: User danyl3 and click a few ads, then read the rest of the psx scene site then mess about with the PS3. I'm on the PS3 more then the PC these days. Sony should be so happy.

I'm compiling right now rockbox with PL3 support.
I hope this time it will work (updated the PL3 librery to the new one).

PL3 is a shared payload library that kakaroto (PSFreedom creator) created.

PL3 is a new payload which lets tou to port psgroove to work on older firmwares like 3.01,3.10 & 3.15!

DanyL, great job. I can test the 4g greyscale 3.15. I have IPL loader and rockbox on there already. I still plan to try to compile this all up on my own this weekend so after we test yours working if you could help me with a couple small details so I can try, I would appreciate it. If you post in the next hour or so I can test before I sleep. If not then I can try after sleep and work. PL3 is a little more than backwards compatibility. Matter of fact older firmwares were first done in the PSFreedom code, PL3 is by the same coder. PL3 as I understand it is supposed to be a bridge between PSGroove and PSFreedom in some respects, more for developing as I gather. It allows payloads to be built in two stages, switch out payloads so you could use the Linux loader, dump the memory etc from the limited research I have done on it. I'm sure my info is slightly off and I have no doubt there is more to it. Will keep an eye on this thread before bed, great job DanyL.
