This is what I did the last time I tried (I have tried in many, many ways):

1. Turn off back switch
2. Unplug cord
3. Plug Cord
4. Connect iPod to right port
5. Run payload and wait for iPod to turn idle on rockbox menu
6. Turn on back switch
7. Power then eject

Still no luck, I can't understand what is wrong :/

EDIT: BTW In this try I run the payload by first loading Rockbox, not from bootloader like in other tries

Lalo, one more thing. Step 7, press power than HOLD eject until you see the yellow HDD light on the front of the PS3 blink once, then release eject. It increases the JB success rate.

Just asking, will you upload this video in how much time? My time is 11:40 p.m., but I could hardly fall asleep, so I just want to know like how much time will it take you to make and upload the video.

ok, correct me if im wrong.
I dont know if thats something important, but if i remember when you need to use the "rightest" usb port is when ps3 is already in service mode and you are going to insert the usb stick with the files modified pup and the file 1.
maybe sound silly but why dont you try rockbox/downgrade on the left usb port?

PS: in the video i did watch downgrading ps3, downgrader/factory enabler device was in the left port.

yeah I don't even see that happening at all as soon as I select the file it starts up rockbox and then goes into the menu
