Readd 3rd Party Controller support

I guess and hope that I'm not the only one who is interested in this. Many people will update to 3.55 now but the big problem is that most unlicensed 3rd party controllers don't work anymore. As we have access to the dev_flash I guess we could compare some changes from 3.41 to 3.50 in regards to this controller issue BUT the problem is now where to start looking for it. Has anyone of you guys already started looking into this?

I agree with you. I bought a racing wheel to play GT5 but it doesn't work with the 3.55 firmware (fail). I would like to make a fix by myself, but I don't know how to do that, so I hope someone can make it.

I'm concerned about this. I will not update since I use 3rd party controllers to play with friends.

I thought the 3rd party controller revoking was done way before 3.40? Unless they revoked even more for 3.5.

I was about to make a thread requesting this as well but I can only assume that no one really cares.

My Hama Controller worked on 3.41 for example and now it doesn't.

I don't know if some third party controllers were removed before, but for certain the 3.50 version does the most damage.

Well, I do care, and I think a lot of people is still at 3.41 and unaware of this problem. They will care when they update their PS3s to 3.55.

Yeah when more and more people update to 3.55 because of PSN they will have this same problem with 3rd party controller.

guess i'm really lucky.. my usb (wireless) controller has always been working.. lucky me eh..

(1st tested with geohots 3.55cfw and now i'm on wanikoko's 3.55cfw)

Sorry I couldn't find a solution. Does someone know which files are responsible? I would try to replace them with the old file from 3.41 first.

Could someone move this to the dev section?
