PSP Games on PS3 MM

Ok I am sure this has probably been asked before but does anyone know the status or if PSP ISOs can be run on a PS3. I only ask this because I know the Cobra dongle allows this and I am surprised that this functionality hasn't been taken from them as of yet. I am keeping my vita around for the sole purpose of PSP games but if the PS3 could do it instead I would get rid of it. I really am against buying dongles after the Trueblue debacle but I am wondering if that is my only option

First, you should know that the PSP compatibility for the Cobra dongle is pretty terrible. About one out over every ten games work. Currently this is the only way to play PSP backups on a PS3, but deank(developer of multiman) has mentioned that we can maybe expect to see PS2 backups supported on CFW PS3s in a few weeks. Now if this indicates that the Cobra dongle was reversed to accomplish this, then can be expected that the other features (PSP support) to make it as well.

So basically, not right now, but keep an eye on the scene.
