    PSGroove possible port to the SIXAXIS PS3 controller

    This might possibly be the grand daddy of all ports if it is successful, I mean who doesn't own a PS3 controller? Some of the members over at Elotrolado have started working on installing PSGroove onto the Sixaxis/Dualshock3 controller.

    A quote from the devs:

    *The SIXAXIS controller has a memory eeprom that permits its programming. (Thanks BoRJa_FiesTeRo) For the time being, this is being listed as POSSIBLE but without confirming the installation of the PSGroove.

    *The name of the Micro is:

    * TOSHIBA 15UM3EFG-001
    * JAPAN0703EG1
    * F0194ZA
    If your anything like me, you will be waiting anxiously for any and all updates on this new WIP. You can keep up with all the latest developments over on their Spanish forums and PSX-SCENE as it happens.

    Ha!

    I have an old PS3 (non dual shock) pad which doesn't charge any more. I'd be more than willing to strip it down if a solution like this were to surface...

    In fact a mate of mine has about 3 which have various issues with them.

    i know it sounds weird, but if this works would we have to take a certain part of the controller off for it to work? like the casing?

    judging from that image, you might be able to drill a hole in it if that reset button is all you need access to...
