Anyone done it for the Sansa C240 v1? I thought the E200 might be the same but after a has comparison between the two payloads, they are clearly different.

But as I look at the differences I am noting a trend. The source this comes from is very old compared to that in PL3. In fact, I'm not sure it should be called PL3 at all. It appears that atleast SOME of teh files are from waninkoko's branch of PL3 that hasn't been updated since October 13th.
(How do I know? Default_payload.S has teh following lines:
* Copyright (C) (Hermes) * Copyright (C) Miguel Boton (Waninkoko)
That only appears in the waninkoko fork.
There are other differences too, syscall_36 for example. I'll keep everyone posted as I progress but just be aware that there were significant PL3 updates in the last month to fix black screens, lv2open, and other issues that (unless they were updated differently and separately from PL3--- I do some SOME evidence of that.) there may be issues not in this pay load that have later been resolved in PL3.
GREAT PAYLOAD IT LOOKS LIKE... NO ONE GET ME WRONG. Just be aware that:
this PL3 != today's PL3.
Interesting. Using old code (payload) in a new release. I wonder if they have a specific reason for doing so.
Can someone compile it for c200v1 hermes psn? Thanks in advance!
I think it's the branch they were using and built on it. I can see where some of the recent updates to PL3 have been copied and pasted, by places in other spots where addresses are not the same as what have been updated with PL3, but still other spots have been updated, and the code being much less modularized that what PL3 has become in the last month.

It's cool stuff. Just wish it was on a more recent version of PL3 or there was a github where I could track the changes and see what they were thinking.
The unfortunate thing is they also used the Sony SDK for syscall8.h.S. So you're going to need that to compile it, so I've got to figure that piece out to get around having to use that to do the compile since it's not really redistributable.
Just to clarify, it's not they, it's xoeo. He's one person, Chinese, and usually appears on a9vg. This is his own personally customized PL3/Hermes payload that he uses himself. He probably started working on it around 2-3 weeks ago so the PL3 code base looks old. Later he added in the PSN and Spoof. Since he didn't intend to release it so there's no github.

Oh no. It came ONE day too late. They patched up the PSN 3.50 FW spoof today. Thanks for the payloads anyways. I will try it out. Thanks slaski.
