I have just completed all compiles for every known Rockbox Port that supports RockBox-PSGroove for Firmware 3.15.
This includes the Hermes v3 patch by Waninkoko from a few days ago, the one that supports debug pkg installs and Disk/Diskless Boot Manager support.
Compatability Note: for some reason unknown to me, 3.15 seems to be less compatabile with games in the boot managers than 3.41, if you get the install packages option, the "*/app_home/ps3_game/" option, and the game you selected in boot manager shows up on the "*/app_home/ps3_game/" menu it's working properly. Also, the "unknown device" pop up is fine. Games that go to a black screen or boot you back to the XMB are not compatable, but I have had some success with FTPing the files to the PS3, OverLord II is the example I've used.
The other Hermes v3 patch (with retail pkg support) is currently not created in any of the PL3 forks for FW 3.15. (FW 3.15 is my main goal currently because there aren't many out there that support 3.15 and we've been waiting the longest)
The following ports are now compiled for FW 3.15, if you use these please report back to this thread that they work so others can benefit:
Update: ALL devices I know of that are capable of running RB-PSGroove are now compiled for 3.15... including the ipod_4G_Grayscale! (Thanks to DanyL's post knudging me in the right direction to fix my compiler's IRAM Overflow.)

Reason: ipod_4G_Grayscale compile completed!
Crash, thanks for the 3.15 dedication! This 3.4x sdk situation really worries me. I hope we don't get left out of the good brew... Anyhow, I spent approx 2 hours testing your 3.15 4g greyscale and rechecking I had everything right. It does not work, as in does not even boot at all. Hangs the PS3 at a black screen every time. I downloaded the file twice to be sure, reinstalled the rockbox.ipod a few times. I even reinstalled 3.15 on the PS3 twice, each time using your rockbox.ipod first (danyL had reported after building waninkoko PL3 that apparently his compile was working but that he had to reinstall 3.15 so I thought maybe switching payloads it could need a reinstall somehow). Upon repeatedly trying danyL 3.15 regular PL3 build (his original test version for 3.15) and your compile, his works, your new compile just hangs the PS3. I don't have any other devices to test to tell you if this is the same on them all. Hope this helps, will check back to test a different compile if you want to try something else (or maybe you were tired and made a simple error?). Thanks again.
I know how it all works, been doing it awhile now and I have PS3key

Tried it a few times, yet I can put the Ipod5g video.rar from SLOK back on and it loads straight away.
Has anyone else tested this on ipod video other than me.
Hmmmm, I found the solution through the other thread from his posts to get it compiled. Maybe I'll try recompiling again and send it to you via PM.

I'm awaiting a response back from them... but I agree, the compile went rough enough that I wonder if there might not be a problem with it.
As for the 3.15 scene, I too am worried people are forgetting about us. Twice I've gotten homebrew that could help me figure this out and it has required 3.41 to even run... now homebrew wants to take away my OtherOS like Sony does.
Ahh, the 3.41 one. I definately haven't tested that one. I may have compiled it wrong (you have to change a definition and recompile the PL3 to switch firmwares, may have missed that step since I was ONLY doing 3.15), and have no way to test...I will remove it so no one else has an issue. I may move to compiling for 3.41 soon, but have no way to test... care to be a tester if I do incorporate the new 3PL3 code? (No real reason to use the 5 day old PL3 code when so much more has come out for 3.41)

I can test whatever if you need. Send me a PM or link it up in the threads. No rush, no biggie, it seems like we have already moved on to the next mutation anyhow, math+hermes+wanin anyway. I hope once this one is done, people stop asking for new compiles daily. Fact guys, the code will change over and over and over. If you have a working copy, just settle in with what you have, everyone doesn't need each new micro update, but I understand this one is a fairly signifigant shift. I also just saw a post on the other thread, a user having problems with your nano 1g for 3.15 as well. Can't vouch if they are doing it right, or details, but it sounds like it doesn't boot at all for them either? Could be user error, but sounds very similar. Only one that worked for them is DanyL test. I have a second build by DanyL tested working today as well. Not sure what it is, but I believe its the new PL3 build.

Reason: more details on other users 3.15 experience
For ipod nano 1st gen plz.
Firmwares matter, you have to tell us what firmware. If it's 3.15 you're out of luck right now unless they fixed firmware 3.15 last night because it was broken in the PL3 I tested last night.

I'll get with DanyL to verify what he did to get his working-- maybe I changed the wrong file.

Note to all: it would brighten my day to know that it is working for you... not to mention make it easier to identify the builds that need my attention and dedicated testers if you report back when something is working. ;-) (hint hint)
I hear you on the micro changes. I'm moving to a compile on the weekend schedule after this weekend now that there is something for every platform for 3.15... The PL3 changed almost every night this week. The one exception will be if there is something significant for 3.15 in the PL3... like a lvl2open patch for 3.15.
See above two comments, what version of firmware... 3.15 is compiled need testers to confirm it is working. I recall one saying it did and another saying it doesn't... care to break the tie? ;-)
