Sansa m240 –
if anyone knows is PSGROVE WORK ON SANSA M240. thanks
Evostar..!!! keep up the good work man.. well done
Yeah Evostar keep up the good work, your work is really appreciated
id10terror, thanks for the quick response. Awesome work, BTW... I'm excited to see this solidify.

I've been reading up, and catching up now (still have more to catch up on)that I have a JB device in my sansa 200v1, and it looks like the work he's doing and the work that is being done with the PL3 stuff is really going to be key now that different firmwares are coming into the "JB fold" to help keep things clear for everyone.
I considered building a CentOS compiler VM last night, but haven't had a chance to do anything because of (like you said) real work getting in the way.
It just seems to me from the work he's doing, from looking at the code and using stage1.bin if it exists that one could easily check for the contents of a file (say .rockbox/pxsfw.txt) and read the first string (say "3.15") and then look for another file with that string in the name (say payload-3.15-fw-stage1.bin) and use that. Then you could have all the payloads in a distribution and the tutorials would be fairly easy to manage.
"change .rockbox/psxfw.txt to contain the firmware version you are on..... "3.20", "3.41", "3.50" etc etc...
I may have to play around with that if no one else is already working on it.
I've also seen him working on github but it seems like he is not finished yet.
I installed Rockbox on my Sansa e280 and it works, but when I plug the USB cable.. the screen doesn't stop to reboot.
I see a quick usb icon.. soon after that it swith to rockbox and restart again.. over and over.
I reboot the sansa into the sansa loader. Plug the usb cable
I copied the content of the zip file in the root of my sansa and reboot into rockbox loader.
still have the same problem. I try to plug it in the PS3.. and the same thing happen again.
did I missed something ?
I<m able to get it the work with the latest sansa e280 build of rockbox. How do I apply the hermes v3 patch over that ?
oups. is it because I have a e280v2 that it doesn<t work ? probably
PSGroove_Hermes_V3_e200v1_Evostar.zip won't work.
How, can I make a build for my device ?
