tv xml has been edited to make it show up in as the lump of the app is in Game Data (& online respectively) but you can take any normal home brew app and put it in tv category by changing PARAM to read AT as pkg type

but if you don't have a FW with TV enabled you'll either want to keep this app installed, install some other app that will enable it (as mentioned earlier in this thread) or change the Game ID to one that I mentioned earlier in this thread (thanks to DanyL)

i enabled tv catgory by putting BLES... something folder in dev_hdd0/game. it wasnt a problem mate

Ok everyone i have just updated my PS3Ultimate TV app to v1.11 i've also updated the installer so please remove the version you have installed and install it using the updated installer the update to v1.11 through the app if there is any issues you find with this such as anything missing off your XMB please let me know also with this release i have added some applications in the Extra, PS3 XIL section such as Netflix, YouTube For The PS3, LOVEfilm etc

I've also added some more tv shows and an extra theme but please remember this is a working progress so please let me know if your having problems and if anyone wishes to create some extra themes or have any suggestions please let me know by commenting here or on the PS3Ultimate TV blog i have also updated the PS3Ultimate TV website so for more information go there.

created silent update it includes:

Netflix v1.02 (GB) (3.55 CFW)
Netflix v2.10 (US) (3.55 CFW)

Can someone give me a simple rundown of how I should install this on 4.21 rebug? I am a little confused as the instructions are a little vague on if your supposed to be adding categories or not. On 4.21 I already have the TV/Video category and a seperate video category. Do i still need to use one of these "flash" options available(Does Dev_blind need to be enabled to do this?)? I have tried without and nothing appears on my xmb even after a restart.

I just wanna be sure as I still am in the process of re-setting up my 750 gb internal after dealing with the corrupt HD error and the ps3 forcing me to format. I really dont want to do this again. Any help is appreciated.

1. create a folder on a usb stick called PS3Ultimate TV
2. create a folder in PS3Ultimate TV called Themes
3. decide if u want it in TV or Video then load up the PS3Ultimate Installer on you ps3 and choose the flash option then click no when it asks if u wanna restart ps3 then do the same for music & video bypass option then choose PS3Ultimate TV Application once there installed exit to xmb and restart you ps3 you should then have the app installed in the category u selected.
4. on the app goto Info, Update Section and click Update and download the v1.11 update to PS3Ultimate TV
5. now click on Install Update and install the v1.11 update pkg and your done
