PS3 Possibly Semi Bricked / YLOD After Kmeaw

Hey guys, so sony sent me a replacement console for my previous bricked ps3 (waninkoko fw), A 60 GIG Model, I installed a 500gb Hard drive and installed Kmeaw. PS3 runs fine and never freezes up while in use, however every now and then, it will give me the YLOD with the ability to eject and put a disc back in. PS3 will turn on, green light will stay on for like a minute then yellow light to blinking red. After a couple of days or hours (depending on how the ps3 feels), it'll turn on and everything will work, its currently working now and im wondering is there any sort of fix for this, its driving me crazy....

i think i had the same thing...

i was using Gaia manager v2.04 and was getting random freezes now and then. I could also eject or insert disc, but for the rest i could only hard reset the console at the back. first thought it was kmeaw that caused those freezes, but it was cause i was using old version of gaia manager. Installed v2.07 and since then i never got one freeze anymore.

na im not getting freezes, im getting random YLOD when first trying to turn on the console ...

if you're shure you got the YLOD, try the YLOD sollutions.

get it apart, new thermal paste and reheating solder...

it's too wired that this happens with a new console, it has nothing to do with the cfw kmeaw instalation..
1) sony cheat you and send a repair console with problems
2) you did something wrong that you are not conscious of this..

YLOD is a generic hardware fault error code. It has nothing to do with Kmeaw.

just call sony again, if they replaced the first one they should replace this ps3 to. tell them u dnt want refurb crap
