PS3 Downgrading Error.
PS3 Downgrading Error. –
12-12-2010,12:50 PM
While i was in Service/Factory mode and downgrading, before the ps3 reboot (the hdd led wasn't blinking) i unpluged the usb stick.
As a result every time im turning on my ps3, i get a message which says:
"Connect the ps3 controller with a USB cable and then press the PS Button to continue"
After i press it:
"The system software cannot run correctly.Press the PS button to try to restart the system.
If the system cannot be restarted, you must reinstall the system software.Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.41 or later, and the press the start and select buttons at the same time.
For infos how to obtain the update data refer to the SCE web site for your region."
I press start and select while i have my usb connected with the 3.41 firmware in a PS3 folder.
Then it says:
"Checking. . .
Please Wait"
And finally :
"No applicable update data was found.
Connect the storage media that contains update data of version 3.41 or later, and press start and select buttons".
any help please? :'(

Download the official 3.50 update package and let the PS3 update to that (make sure you get the right one for your region). Then redo the entire downgrading process.
But why on earth would you unplug the USB stick while it was downgrading?
