PS3 3.15 Games won't launch and confused

Sorry if this is a repeat...ive searched and can't find the answer I'm looking for.

So i jailbroken my PS3 3.15 with my iPod 4g Grayscale with Rockbox PSGroove Hermes v3.

I then installed OBM v1 and backed up my games(which i own) to an external. I have read that to launch a game you will need a disc in the drive.
So i have done what the instructions told me to do and the games won't boot. It just go to a black screen, the clock shows up at the top right of the screen for a sec, and then it goes back to the xmb
I have read some games show up in the /app-home/PS3_Games/, but when i go to it it gives me error code 80028f14.

So right now...im just confused on what i need to do.

if you have done everything properly, and it sounds like you did, you should see whatever game you are trying to load in place of the DISK that is inserted.

It doesn't load straight from the backup manager. It mounts the game so that you will see it on the XMB where you would see any disk-based game.

I have tried it with a disc in many times and it just won't mount the game at all. The only thing that i can think of is that it's because my FW is still 3.15, but there are people out that are running backups on 3.15.

Seriously though...I am so confused right now.

Am i supposed to put the disc in at a certain moment or before i open up BM?

It is working fine for me.
I just tested Bioshock2 on my 3.15 with no problem.

You might want to read up a little more on whatever method you are using to jailbreak, or try a different backup manager or something.

Just to be clear, You know that it is SUPPOSED to spit you back to the XMB, and there you select the disk icon, right?

and no there is no special time to put the disk in.

what kind of backup manager are you using?

I'm using open manager "Gaia" but i have already tried 2 other BM and i still get the same results.

I have a PS3 FAT 3.15 with PIC 18F2455 v1.6d for Jailbreak i use Open Manager .

Game work, i just test on internal hard drive (500go) because i don't have external

NFS Shift work but G25 no just PAD it's big Problem for me if anyone have a solution

Wangan Midnight work fine

Ridge Racer 7 work fine

Ferrari Challenge work fine

Sega Rally work fine

I dont know if it's a bad rip but Initial D extreme stage don't work and Burnout to

I used the open manager from this site a second ago to test.
I haven't used much on that ps3, I have a BC also That is on 3.41 and have only used managers and such that I downloaded from this site/forum.

It may be the payload you are using for the jailbreak.

I would start over with that next. Maybe a broken payload or something.

Well I got the payload from another site where i downloaded the rockbox.ipod. The file only consist of PSGroove and Hermes v3. I know there is a custom payload of hermes that supports no disc and all but i would know how configure the file to have the custom payload.

would it be smarter for me to update to 3.41 and then try it out? I have everything downloaded to JB at 3.41.
