hello dear members, i came here to ask for help for my problem with the minimus avr stick i bought some days ago. (btw i hope im in the right section, if not im really sorry)

when i plug the avr stick into my pc it is detected correctly, but if i take it out an stick it in again(even if i programmed the hex file before) it has a problem detecting it correctly. in the device manager is is under the section USB-Controller and is named Generic USB Hub. also the greed AND red ledīs are both on permanently.

please can u help me, or do u maybe need more information?

i also attached 2 screenshots, the first one when i put the stick in with already installed firmware(just resetted with the 2 buttons on the stick), and the second when i took the stick out and put it in again.

    greets T

so just to be sure you're doing this right, you put it into your pc, hold both buttons then release the reset button until it makes the 'device inserted' noise?

that's what i always do.. i can make you a video to show you exactly what i mean if you like?

What you are describing is normal behavior.
Insert the Minimus, vista detects the usb device.
hold the reset button, vista now detects the device as an atmel hub

Then open flip software and connect/flash.

    This occurs everytime.

    what occurs everytime?

it doesnt detect it as atmel hub, thats what causes my problem, it detects it as "LibUSB Win32-Device" and when i pot it in my ps3 it doesnt work anymore. then i connect it with my pc an see that it doesnt have the same properties as it hab before and is detected as "Generic USB hub"
