I've seen a footie match to download in 3D and wondered if it can be played on the ps3...

    The NFO states:
Presented in Frame Compatible Side-by-Side 3D (Left Image First).

Can be viewed on most 3D BluRay players, or on 3D compatible monitors with a compatible player.

Stereoscopic Player from 3dtv.at supports Side-by-Side input and can output to various 3D formats, such as Nvidia 3D Vision or Red-blue Anaglyph for use with ghetto $2 3D glasses if configured to use the correct AR.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Well I have some movies in side by side 3D, and I just stream them to my PS3 using PS3 Media Server. Your PS3 can't convert it to 3D though. My 3DTV supports side by side, so I just select that 3D mode in the settings and the TV uses the two sides to make it stereoscopic 3D.
So if your 3DTV has a side by side input mode then it will work just fine. Most downloadable 3d movies use side by side or a horizontal split to display left and right images so i think a lot of TV's support it.
