I have a doubt; in the link you suggested there are these files for pickit2:
* PK2-341-HermesV4b-PSNECO-C0B4-git-evilsperm-build_101128_en.PSdragon.com.hex Size: 39.1 KB Date: December 4, 2010
* PK2-341-PL3DEF-PSN-ECO-C0B4-git_evilsperm-build_101128_en.PSdragon.com.hex Size: 35.0 KB Date: December 4, 2010
* PK2_Hermes-v3_Waninkoko-PL3_update-Mathieulh.hex Size: 35.1 KB Date: December 4, 2010
* PK2_PICkit2_PSGrooPIC1.7a_Hermes-V3_20MHz_SK.hex Size: 35.1 KB Date: December 4, 2010
* PK2_PSGrooPIC1.5-Hermes_20MHz_SK.hex Size: 39.0 KB Date: December 4, 2010
* PK2_PSGrooPIC1.8b-HermesV4b_PICkit2_FW3.41.hex Size: 39.1 KB Date: December 4, 2010
Right now I am using Gaia Manager 1.04.1 and/or multiMAN v1.10.13. Which of the hex files would do 3.50 spoof (to aloud Black Ops or GT5)? Would it work with PSN?
Once again, thanks for your time and help.
Regards.
If not specified, the firmware is built for console with firmware 3.41
PICDEM BTL/MCHPUSB BTL is the same thing
As long as you don’t program the configuration bits/words, it doesn’t matter what the Oscillator frequency is. PICDEM users make sure you use PICdragon Flash Tool which is safe.
PSN means PSN patchas debugging station, currently blocked
ECO means 3.50 Spoof
Black Ops can run without 3.50 spoofing;
Even with 3.50 spoofing, GT5 will not work.
I recommend you to use
PK2_PSGrooPIC1.8b-HermesV4b_PICkit2_FW3.41.hex
The original HermesV4B firmware, without PSN/ECO 3.5 spoof,
cause PSN is blocked now,
3.50 spoofing doesn't give you benefit at this moment.
