Now update my 3.15 and no Other OS now
I am having issues with my PIC board (4550 wBTL). Since updating to the 1.6d hex and doing a game update, that game no longer loads "An error occurred during the start operation. (80010009)". I have tried putting an old hex back on the board but still same issue. Tried original backup manager and open manager as well in patched mode. If I leave a disc in the drive and load a game, the PS3 just freezes and I have to manually restart it.
Has anyone had similar issues, help much appreciated.
Games were SSF4 and Assassins Creed 2. Thanks.
If im not mistaken, with the pic4550 with bootloader, you are suppose to remove the dev board after the jailbreak. Else it might get corrupt. You will need a PIC programmer to program back your PIC if im not mistaken. Did you leave the USB dev board on your ps3?
I have always left the board in the ps3 and never had any issues. The games I didnt update still load fine. I am just having issues with assassins creed 2 which I updated and SSF4 which never worked - both same error as above post.
That's why you should tricking with updates, as these are not so easy as w/o JB. If you need the updates, follow the tutorials/guides, how to do it properly. And clearly it has nothing to do with your PIC-borad or code.

Right I could do with some help/advice please.
I have 2 usb boards, a minimus which I have no problem finding hex files because it is so popular but I also have the following board which I struggle to find working hex files for.
It is a 18f2550 chip
HID boot loader
The crystal is 8mhz, but this is irrelevant as the crystal is set in the bootloader, so will work with any hex that supports the boot loader
These is previous hex files that I have previously found and worked with the board
EDIT - http://psgroopic.blogspot.com has pretty much all the info needed just waiting for them to update to the latest files
