I clicked on the links to get this ftp app: Blackb0x v1.2 (3.55) | Download | Waninkoko & Kmeaw | Wutangrza & Geohot -- But I was sent to another forum [ps3free.org], but I don't see where the download links are. Do I have to join that site in order to get what I need? If yes, doesn't this act seem like you are trying to recruit forum members from this site? Your thoughts?

you need to put on your glasses, look out for the section links, there are 3 links you can click for each section.
no need to register, guest see the links and can click.
the forum is empty and does not need members.
it is working that way because both that forumscript and the download manager script are in the server root.

Ah I see. It was strange that the link would not take me straight to the source where the download file was. So when I just saw another forum where it said on the top that I need to register, I found it strange. Yes, after a few digging around I did find where the downloads were.

Question: Wouldn't it be easier to just link straight to the files and not necessarily the main forum page?

If you click on the links, you'll know what I mean that they don't take you straight to the file, instead a different page where then you have to ask yourself, where do I go next?

the downloadsite wil be closed soon, no more ps3 here to test and i don't think it is used very much, cheers all.

Thanks for the heads up wimpienl. I am trying to talk the admins into opening up an actual download section at the site, and hopefully I can use that to mirror all these files.
