Hmm yeah am having no probs soo I suppose ill just live it alone for a few months.. coz that day when I first decided jail break it was the day I had updated the PS3 to 3.61 after 4-5 months was too busy playing offline games and in no need of PSN stuff LOL... So kinda was soo close if only I had thought of Jail Break before Updating it.

Figured I would post here as I am new again to this. So I was around when the jailbreak first came out and I used my gen 1 ipod mini. Then I swear you could use any usb stick to jailbreak, used a plain one, it worked for a bit then stopped....so its been 6 months or so since I have tried it again. Now I want to get my JB ps3 working again, but do I need to use a specific device again?

northp: if your firmware is 3.55 or less then you can just download a cfw, if your above 3.55 then you cant do anything
I would recommend rebug 3.55 (it seams the rebug site is now right now, but you could try kmeaw)

Ya mines a 3.51 or 3.55... I need to screw the psu back in and I'll power it back up. So with a firmware 3.55 or less I can just get cfw on it with out a "key" running?
