is there any information about how to make a nand reader/writer ?
some devs have this.
has the ps3 any protection against writing to the nand (eg old firmware not working, like x360efuses)
this would be the only thing we would need to not worry about a ****ed up nand again. no more bricks...
better do some soldering (or let it do) than always worrieng about destroying the console with bad software (that realy sucks)
everyone have a nice day

You have no hope if you brick your console. Expert solderers have very little hope.
if i got a sane nand copy (eg infectus) and delete my nand or **** up some files in there, why shouldnt i be able to unbrick the ps3 ??
just need to reflash the nand dump i made before... ?
am i wrong?
Only if you made a 1:1 copy of you NAND before you bricked your PS3.
The NAND like any other hardware in the world have unique keys included inside of them that are needed to communicate with the CPU.
If you delete that there is no way in the world that the NAND will be able to communicate with any other component in the system.
Think of it like the BIOS, take it out and your whole damn computer wouldn't work.
The infectus can not read NOR chips and never will be able to. It is not 56 wires that are needed for NOR or even Dual NAND chips.
