Linux/WoW on PS3

Hello,

I had a question. If I had a jailbroken PS3 and then installed Linux on it, would that give Linux full access to the system? And if it does since from what I understand PS3 runs on a PowerPC type platform, could I run a PowerPC application? Or maybe it's possible the full route and install OSX on the PS3 instead of Linux? The reason I am asking is because my wife loves WoW but we aren't able to get another PC at the moment to play it on. I've had people tell me it's possible to get WoW playing on the PS3 with acceptable FPS, but no one could share how or even link to a guide. I've looked through pages of Google and only came across people saying use Ubuntu, but then others saying it wouldn't function for crap.

i believe even if you could install it and set it up so it should work the ps3s ram isnt high enough if i remember,

the ps3s ram is only 256mb im not sure if the graphics and stuff are high enough though maybe you might get the first world of warcraft running if it can handle it but if i was you id go for something not as demanding like lineage or shaiya or maybe pso blue burst who knows let me know how you get on
