Iphone 3G and PSFreedom for FW 3.15?

Greetings everyone,
as many of you have heard today Kakaroto made the PSFreedom exploit suitable for firmwares other than 3.41. I am one of these guys who stayed on firmware 3.15 not to lose the other os support and I have an iphone 3G which can be used to jailbreak the ps3. Unfortunately, the PSFreedom website has only pre-compiled PSFreedom files that support only 3.41 and not 3.15, and also they do not include the latest Backup Manager. Does anyone have a good tutorial on how I can compile it manually or does anyone know where I can find a precompiled iphondroid image(if any exists)?

I'm in the same boat. (Although I have an IPhone 2G, I'm sure the process is similar)

I think I'll start looking into how to compile this on my own, but I think I'll have trouble with putting it into the iphonedroid image.

I too am patiently waiting for some kind and competent soul to support and compile for recent payload developments, the PSfreedom iphonelinux wiki is outdated now and it's frustrating!

I would also suggest that you avoid iphodroid like the plague, sergio isn't a team player and as no one QA's his code/tools, you need only read the sorry tales on his forum of users that have bricked their iphones with no NOR backup. Instead I'd go for idroid, it's the safest bet. No manual installs are needed, use bootlace (installed via cydia) and the iDroid Mojo install is automatic and very quick on wifi. The latest release (1.0.3) will be pushed to bootlace any day now according to the idroidproject twitter. See the iDroid wiki for more.
I also can vouch for this, it works great, enabling triple boot of ios, iDroid & PSFreedom!

There's a poll on another ps3 scene site that shows iDevice jailbreaks come second in the most used device for PS3 JB, is everyone with an iDevice using PL1 and an outdated BM?

I'm pleased toconfirm that thanks to the efforts of prarie the latest (Oct 22nd) compilations of PSfreedom 1.1 are now working!
