the issue still exists with noltaris updated code.

if you could. please continue trying to enter service mode. it takes me about 4 attempts on my slim everytime, but only one on my phat. if its a slim your using this on, its possible it will enter service mode without turning off (from my experience).

just did it again, this time it took 5 attempts.

the reason is theres too long of a delay with the slims. you have less then 5 seconds or so for the jig to start working. the phats are not as picky.

Okay..but the thing is the picdem from other dongle website pretty much works for the first time. Can Noltaris change the code abit to make it work for the slim as well? :D

its hard to say without seeing the difference with the other hex source.

with the downgrade, everyones code seems to be a big secret for some reason.

no not with my source.

hey,i'm using the Picdowngrader on my pic controller.I downgraded one ps3 phat that had 3.50,but now i had to downgrade a brand new 320 gb with pre installed 3.50 firmware.The downgrade failed.After i put the usbstick with the lv2diag file 1 in it and the 3.15 .pup it won't shut down and the green led it's blinking.If i shut it down and pull of the stick and try to power on the console ,won't enter in factory mode and nothing appears on the screen and it shut downs after 10 sec or so..
Tried to downgrade to 3.42,3.41(modified.pup),3.15 debug firmware and 3.15 retail,but nothing worked.Any idea?Please help!

Problem solved i went to take a shower and i let the ps3 downgrade from 3.50 to 3.41 and it worked :)).Thx

iLLNESS-PSGrade-1.1 source and hexes are now posted.

updated to latest commit from noltari. im still having issues with entering service mode the first time though on my slim both with my hexes and his.

Struggling here using a P3FREE and also trying a PIC18F board. (The xbox SPI one).

Just cannot seem to get either of them working :(

Edit: using a FAT ps3.

Edit 2: Ok, Got it working with the Xbox SPI board using the hex from ps3news. iLLNESS, im not sure why yours is not working for me. :(

there seems to be some issues with noltaris psgradepic source... entering service mode seems random. sometimes it will work, other times it will not. ive had better results with the phat but both have caused issues with my 1.1 hexes/source.

you could try my 1.0 hex as well see if it helps.
