    Hi peepz

This has probably been asked before... it's asked over a million times on the internet. But I have googled, surfed on tieducation, searched on other relevant websites, searched on here, on other fora,...for houres and
    whatever I do ... I can't get my ti-84 plus connected to my windows vista 32-bit -_-

I've uninstalled and reinstalled ticonnect, done a system restore and reinstalled it.
I've tried on another pc, my laptop, my dad's laptop. (all of these are on vista) I've tried updating it by dropping the update .8Xu above the ticonnect icon and hoping it'd then find my device.
I have unistalled the driver in device manager, tried searching online for the driver, tried accessing the driver in the ticonnect folder.
I've followed tutorials, guides, answers to yahoo questions (there's ALOT of people not able to connect their ti84plus) and I just can't get that freakin' calculator connected to my pc.

It worked before, I was able to connect once, but that was about a week or 3 ago.
And I seriously wouldn't know what I've done to mess it up since then.
I also can't do a system restore that far.

Then I tried to install TiLP, something like ticonnect with drivers.
WIndows said the driver isn't recognized by them for every driver tilp wanted to install at the end of the setup but I've allways chosen to do it anyway.
I can open tilp... but I can't connect my ti-84 plus...
    I still can't find a driver.

I don't know alot of computers, but I am able to follow a clear tutorial and do exactly as it sais and that's what I've done all the time.

    What can I do????

    grtz,

    Brecht

Ah how frustrating, I take it you recently bought the calculator?

    Anyways reinstall ti connect software,

then go to the calculator and press these.

    1. Press the 2nd button (blue button up top left)

    2. Press the + sign. (SO it takes you into MEM)

    3. Click 7 for the reset section

    4. hit All ram.

Bam it should now work. Connect the calculator to the pc.

Anyways another tip; whenever you insert a payload into the calculator, make sure it goes into 'Archive' not 'Ram'. So when RAM resets you don't have to redownload the payload.

When the RAM resets (calculator will do this from time to time) you have to reinstall the hook the PS3 Jailbreak uses on startup.

so u already tried the jailbreak with the calculator? maybe u used an old version, which always installs the hook. open psjb application and remove the hook. now your pc will recognize the ti84plus like before

Crap really? Well the Driver works right? Does the driver look the same as this one?

It should come up as TI educational device. If it isn't, uninstall that driver (right click>uninstall) unplug calculator, clear the RAM like how I mentioned before and reconnect it to the computer. With Ti connect installed it should point to the right driver

Start TI connect and go device explorer and the calculator should come up.

Also in the main post you mentioned installing TiLP or something. Clear that and all the other stuff you used to make it work. The only thing needed is calculator and ti connect.

    It works
The driver was another one... probably the one that came with TiLP.
I did exactly as you said: uninstall the driver and repeating the same process as in your firsgt post and I've got my TI-84 plus connected to ticonnect
    Thx for helping me out!!!!
