Any chance of a port working for 2nd Gen?
after I typed "./loadibec openiboot.img3"
I see this on my ipod touch (see the attachment)
Where is the top left console ??? Am I missing something?? Please help ~
Thanks NoxiousCrack!!! It works like a charm! Do i need to restart my ipod touch after the installation????
For those who got problem with .loadibec openiboot.img3, try to install Ubuntu 32 Bit, because 64 Bit was not working for me.
You're welcomewhen the installation is over, you restart the iPod and you go on android OS (if you have already copy android.img & zImage into your iPod/iPhone) then the linux console appear & when you see INIT on your screen, you do the manipulation on your PS3!

Sorry for the noob question, but do we need to do anything to the "PSFreedom" folder?? Do I need to put it in /private/var???
hi there, i have followed the tutorial for the iphone 3G, im running IOS4.0 with jailbroken redsn0w. I have gotten android installed and now im at a loss.
i can copy the two files from the "iPT1G" to /private/var/ but if i try to boot android with that set up with full permissions it started to boot up droid then just throws a nice colorful screen of nothing.
anyone encounter this?
EDIT: just read my post over and read iPT1G and can see that it is for 1G iphone. but even so i have tried pre-compiled psfreedom for 3G with same result

hmmmm..... when I boot up Andriod and connect my ipod touch to PS3, this shown up on the ipod touch. I set the Permissions to 0777 already. Am I missing something again?
that seems correct, as long as openiboot is installed.
Mine starts to boot like that, and gets through the normal loading process as if it was going to boot into android loads the nvram, then hangs at a multicolor pixeled screen
