Mine was apparently dispatched tonight so should have it by the start of next week, just curious though.. Once I get it and flash it with the PSGroove Hex (with the backup manager patch) when I turn on my PS3 with the dongle in and do the trick will that let me launch the Backup Manager from the games menu?
Or will I need to get a PKG file for the Backup Manager and place it on a seperate USB?
If so where can I find the PKG for the Backup Manager?

Don't know about any of you but mine has so far booted successfully 10/10 times.
I heard somewhere that some dongles sometimes won't boot first time.
Those of you having trouble finding the right hex, go here:
http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthre...hex+collection (Hex File Collection For Various Boards)
Select the bottom one (1.1 ALL) and use teensy 1.0

Mine came in DFU mode. This mode is the programming mode. Once you flash it using the FLIP software you have to click on the start application button. This button will start the application code you just flashed. This will put the key out of DFU mode and run the code. If you ever want to flash again, you have to put the unit in DFU mode again.
1. Press Reset button
2. Plug the key (still pressing reset)
3. Press HWB button
4. release the Reset button
5. release the HWB button
This will put you back in DFU mode and you will be able to reflash.

Thanks a lot. Was having problem with the drivers that came with the FLIP software. With yours it works like a charm!
