How about a sticky for getting a jailbroken console on PSN??

I think it would be nice to have one thread to read about progress being made to get online. Anyone attempting to spoof 3.42?? Anyone editing the files Sony verifies when logging in?? Anyone attempting to write a custom 3.42 firmware?? What's going on in the scene?? I've got a wife and infant daughter so I don't have people coming over to game very often so I RELY on getting online to play humans.

After they closed the proxy trick to get online PSN knew I wasn't running 3.42 but for some reason my system update felt I was already running it......there's got to be a way to trick PSN right? I haven't even jailbroken my unit yet and am just trying to get a legit Madden 11 game online but haven't had any luck. Think its gotta be easier to get a "real" game online then a backup.....why does Sony make u enter the silly game code on the back of the instructions if they can block playing online other ways??

I apologize if any of my comments make me sound like a n00b.....I just got a PS3 about 10 days ago after reading about the jailbreak and am getting old!!

Well as soon as there's any news it'll be posted here.

I don't think theres that many homebrew devolpers on PS3 compared to other consoles, yet.
