    The original PSJailbreak device you do have to leave in. -- But all forms of the PSgroove you don't, you can remove it once your ps3 has booted fully up. -- But of course you have to re-insert once you decide to power-off your PS3 and turn it back on later!

    Which do I use for this?
    According to the ad, this is a Teensy ++ so i would advise to download the hex for the Teensy ++ 1.0 from page 1

    How about a Metaboard With Atmega168 or Roboduino with Atmega328? I found an Australian website selling them for $17 and $40, respectively. Will these devices work?

    ^^ should imagine so.
    from what ive been reading(and i havent jailbroken ps3 yet) anything thats usb,has bootloader shud work.its just a case of getting the hex to work with that board type.the boards maybe different but the actuall chip on board isnt.they are all usually amtel chips or the like.thinking of purchasing an atmega 328 myself.should imagine the hex for atmega32u4 will be fine.u can always wipe it and try a diff one....
