Hi ive been out of the loop for awhile since I sold my ps3 awhile back ago, and soon I will be coming up on a 80gb backward compatible ps3. What I would like to know is if swapmagic is still currently the only way to load ps2 homebrew such as usbadvance and OPL, or if this is even still the best/common way playing ps2 backups on ps3?

My idea was running OPL and running the isos from usb. any information regarding the matter and how to set it up would be much appreciated. thank you!

You can use a cobra-usb Cobra USB - Ultimate PS3 USB solution! - Product or at the bottom of this page is how to setup OPL with swapmagic Official OPLv0.8 User Guides.

okay yeah those are the two ive been looking at. cobra looks very promising so i might give that a go. it really suprises me tho that the features of cobra havent already somehow been coded to cfw and what not, they must really have a lock on that thing, better than sony :op

I just figured there might be some other methods, like virtual memory card or ps2 memory card adapter?
