Help with make gen_pkg using Ubuntu (evilsperm) –
I am using Evilsperms ubuntu release and trying to compile OpenManager (MOH's 1.17.2 also tried 1.16 both failed on make gen_pkg).
It compiles cleanly, but for the life of me I can not get it to create the package successfully. I have verified my links for SDK selector and I am using 1.92. After it compiles here is what I type, and the output I get:
evilsperm@evil-Box:/usr/local/cell/Open$ make gen_pkg
/usr/local/cell/host-linux/ppu/bin/ppu-lv2-strip -s open_manager.elf -o objs/open_manager.elf
/usr/local/cell/host-linux/bin/make_fself objs/open_manager.elf EBOOT.BIN # to use in /app_home/PS3_GAME
/usr/local/cell/host-linux/bin/make_fself_npdrm objs/open_manager.elf PS3_GAME/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN
ERROR: open PS3_GAME/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN
make: *** [gen_pkg] Error 1
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or if there is a better way in linux to create an pkg?
Got it. Turns out I renamed OpenManager to PS3_GAME and it created the pkg file just fine.
