Help With Hermes v3 Iphone 3g

i think the issue is that the v3 for the iphone sends no calls to the bdrom, so it never gets to authenticate. Maybe this is the reason for all the problems, i dont have tmie to test right now, but can someone confirm that with the newest managers and hermes v3 iphone, that all the games that are said to work discless DO infact work on our setups with iphones?

f1 2010 works flawlessly, no controller or save issues! (this is with no game in drive (my blu ray dead also if that helps)

why f1 work and not others

I just installed PSFreedom on my iPhone 2G for the first time yesterday (I've had PIC 360 NAND board for a month, but nonetheless I wanted to try this out

When I had the same problem I thought I had accidently installed the original version where backups don't work, but since I'm not the only one it seems the hermes v3 hasn't been ported correctly. I ended up wasting time and reinstalling OpeniBoot (Took a hell of a long time to install in the first place, and I got the same problem again the second time. So many retries! I only found out afterwards that changing the payload was as easy as ssh'ing an .img file, rather than going through the whole process of iPhoDroid one shoot again >_<).

Anyway I'm going to copy over the Hermes v1 .img over ssh now.

EDIT: If I can find it lol.

EDIT2: I found an .img with peek and poke, I assume it's based off PSGroove v1.1. I made a thread here:

you can find FIXED hermes v3 version (able to launch games with bluray inside & discless) @ IPhoneLinux - PSFreedom Wiki

The new Hermes V3 for 2G (iPhone 2G + Hermes v3 payload) is giving me the same issue as the one provided on the bottom of IphoneLinux page (in Additional Files section).. NFS: Shift is showing me black screen, it was working on Hermes v1..

EDIT: forgot to mention that i even chmoded the android.img.gz and zImage to 777

This is NOT fixed version

This is old hermes v3 with NO bddisc emulation support
