Help With Hermes v3 Iphone 3g

I downloaded Iphone 3g's Hermes v3 from the Iphonelinux site
I have the following Issues
I use OM 1.16

1.when i load a game with a disc in drive the original disc is what shows up. I only have the option of running the game from /apphome/ps3game

is this normal? is this because of hermes?

2.most games dont run the screen just goes black and im returned to the xmb or it just stays black.

games that were previously working with OM 1.14 and the original psfreedom like Heavy rain, Little big planet, uncharted 1.

3. There are games that still run so I don't know what the problem is... the only one to work so far is god of war collection

please help me

should i go back to the original psfreedom?

same problem. i need help.
i try 3 games. f1 dante s inferno and ssf4. only f1 works . another games hust black screen.

Another thing, are your games loading fine without the need of a disc inside the drive using this version?

i dont try without disc but games work on bluray devices. (sorry my bad english )

ya using the 1st psfreedom , so i do need a disc inside and it works with all games ive tried so far, only issues i had were with red dead redemption and f12010 and those were solved by running them with in OM and patched mode.

If needed use fixinstallation.pkg to solve eboot.bin not found error

anyhoo a site has put up a compiled version of hermes v3 for iphone am going to check it out now and see if its the same as on iphonelinux page or if it does actually work! will post results and if it works a link

edit:- nope same version, will boot only 1 in 5 games

waiting for a working release of hermes v3...

I have this same problem as well, and I was really hoping someone would be able to figure this out, so, how about a *bump*? Anyone have any ideas on what could be happening here?

*edit* and yeah, I realize going back a version will fix things, but I'd really like to be able to get all the features available to everyone else, I don't want to have to revert to old payloads.
