Heavy Rain stuck on loading screen
Heavy Rain stuck on loading screen –

Hi,
I JB my PS3 with PSGrovve 1.1 and I'm using Backup Manager 1.0, I'm trying to run Heavy Rain from an external HDD and it just stays on the first loading screen where it shows the origami paper at the bottom right hand corner and it just flashes on and off.
I've deleted everything from the PS3 and it just still doesn't load to the actual game. Is there a way to backup the game to the internal harddrive from the external harddrive perhaps? or anyone else know a way of getting it to work? Thanks.

Heavy Rain is not working from external HDD.
Read the compatibility list: http://tinyurl.com/psjbcl
Use PS3 FTP Server or Blackbox FTP Server or Comgenie Awesome Filemanager to transfer it to the internal HDD.

Ok thanks a million I'll try that out now.
Oh btw, I just got BlackBox FTP, how do I connect my PS3 to my PC in order to get the FTP to connect? Do I just hook it upto the internet like I normally would (the PS3 I mean)? If I do, it won't automatically update or anything will it? If so, how do I stop it from updating and/or connecting to PSN? Thanks.

If you have a router, then just connect your PS3 to that. Make sure you have AUto-Updates turned off in your PS3 settings.
Alternatively or additionally in your Network setttings, set your PS3 to use a Proxy server, but enter a false IP so it can't connect.
You'll still be able to connect to the FTP server on PS3 from your PC when you run it but your PS3 won't be able to connect to the internet.
