Having problems with games loading from Backup Manager

Hey im wondering if anyone can help me out with some advice...

I just got a minimus avr yesterday, i went about flashing it with Hermes Evil Teensy 1.0. That loads correctly and allows me to install packages. i dled some games and put them on an external HD under the GAMEZ folder, and i ran backup manager v2 patched for Hermes. I see the games, however they load, then go to the XMB. any ideas?

from what I have read compatability with the no-blu-ray patch is worse than the compatability with the blu-ray patch.

I havent used the no disk patch, but if it dumps you to the XMB what does the blu-ray icon say ?

The blu ray icon? i looked under movies and there is nothing out of the ordinary.

no you look under games, where the game would usually show up.

Ok i fail, i see what i was doing incorrect, i thought once you went into backup manager and loaded the game, you played from there. my bad...
