Fw 3.42

I dumbly upgraded when 3.42 came out. I'm now thinking about getting a 2nd PS3 for jailbreaking. Has there been any news of possibly breaking into the 3.42 in the near future or is this unlikely?

Have you seen any news of a 3.42 JB? Come to think of Jailbreak is the wrong damn term...gah.

Killed by sony ninjas?

They also promised to unlock PS2 support on all PS3 version which is what gave them away. I'm pretty sure that there's no way to JB it after 3.41. Kind of like JTAG on the 360, no way to hack it after the Christmas update.

I'm lucky lol I had 3.30 when the hack came out and didn't update until I had a usable method. Then everyone around me knew not to do anything to my PS3. I personally want more flexibility, homebrew will be nice...but perhaps some form of x86 emulator or scumm will be better? Tech. those are homebrew...but I think of homebrew as pong (which is coming out nicely).
