Downgraded messup

Hi all
Tried to downgrade using e3 card reader....didnt follow instructions to the T and got into factory service mode....didnt successfully downgrade tried to get back form factory mode to retail but after ps3 had turned itself off after loading lv2diag file 2 tried to turn on and green light comes on then turns itself off.Any help please would be greatly appreciated....appologies for being a ****

Restart the instructions from the beginning. A lot of people have had this issue and by restarting from scratch, they were able to get their console fixed.

But cant get the ps3 to start up no pic on tv and it just switches itself off?

Have you started over with the first lvl2diag.self and a firmware on your thumbdrive again?

Plugged the e3 back in and it goes to boot up in jailbreak mode then turns itself off.

You have to start the whole downgrade process over again. Reflash the E3 with the downgrader.bin, get the 1st lvl2diag.self file and a 3.41 .PUP on a thumbdrive, and start from step 1. If this doesn't work, you may need to use a 2nd HDD or format the HDD you have in a computer and start over again.

Is the USB Drive you are using FAT32 format? If not, then the PS3 will not read it. Make sure it is FAT32, has nothing on it at all, and put the Firmware and Lvl2 file at the root.

Format a usb flash drive to fat32
put the first lv2diag.self on it with the modified pup
put the usb flash drive in the most right usb slot of your ps3
now turn your ps3 on and let it downgrade...
